We will collect items starting on Nov. 3 and ending on Nov. 17. Service Squad members will box up and deliver the items on Nov. 17 to the VEAP food shelf.

For the most needed items, please check VEAP's website.

Congrats VVMS/SVMS Cross Country

Congratulations to the Valley View/SouthView Cross Country teams. The girls team brought home 1st place, and the Boys team brought home 2nd place from the State Meet!

VVMS Choirs

VVMS Choirs hard at work!

Images from left to right are: 6th grade choir practice and 8th grade soprano/alto choir working on musical notation.

Seventh grade choir had a class with Ms. Otzen to connect their song "Paint Box" with art. They also practiced drawing a treble clef symbol.

House Plants Needed!

Culture Crew SLT is thrilled to share that we are launching another Make Edina Green project! As a school, we aim to foster a healthier environment and community for our students and teachers.

If you have any seasonal potted plants or houseplants, we would love to collect them so we can display them in our classrooms! This will give plants another life and make our school more vibrant and green!

If you can, please bring some plants to help live up the VIBE. Please drop them at door 1 near the front office. We are excited to find new homes for your unused potted plants.

VVMS Career Exploration

This year, Ms. Endo will continue the Career Exploration program in collaboration with Community Education, VVMS Library Council, and community members!

We're looking for individuals to share their passion, either career or hobby, with Valley View students in a '20 questions in 20 minutes' format. Interested? Click here to fill out a form and help our students discover their passion!

Volunteer at Valley View!
Lunch and Hall Monitors

Come experience the Valley View VIBE and make a difference in students' lives!

We love having our VVMS parents volunteer during passing times and at lunch! It is a great way to experience the school and make a positive difference in the lives of Valley View students!

We are offering work spaces for those who want to come during our passing time. This allows our parents to supervise halls during transition time but then hop back into an office to work. We're happy to accommodate!

For reference, here is the VV Daily Schedule.

Thank you!!

Working with middle school requires the right temperament. We mostly just need you to be smiley, and cheerful. We avoid practices that involve screaming or yelling. We prefer softer approaches that are kind but firm. Individuals volunteering are able to suspend bias and judgment and can offer support for all students. If you think this is you? Please help us in adding a greater eco-system like approach to how we guide and shepherd our young Hornets.

Parking for Parent Visitors

Parents and caregivers, if you are visiting Valley View please check in at the front desk and a clipboard will be provided for you to enter your vehicle information. This will prevent any boots or ticketing.

Thank You!
