Share your Summer Pictures!

We want to see all the fun things our Hornets have done over the summer! Share your pictures in our Summer Photo Folder. 

You can upload your summer pictures and label them as "(last name) Family" 

Apply for Educational Benefits

Students will receive one free breakfast and one free lunch each school day under Minnesota's Free School Meals program. However, it is critical that all families complete an Application for Educational Benefits each school year to qualify for non-meal related benefits. This can include busing and discounts on fees for activities, clubs, and tests. Additionally, the District may receive additional funding for completed applications that qualify for benefits, which helps support educational programs and services for all students. 

You should apply if:

  • Your family qualified for educational benefits in the past — a new application MUST BE FILLED EACH YEAR.
  • Your family applied last year but did not meet income guidelines. The guidelines change a little each year and you may now qualify for benefits.
  • Your household income has been affected by unemployment, health crisis, death, or other circumstances.

Come see what the fuss is all about, our kids are great and you make a difference!

We loved having our VVMS parents volunteer during passing times and at lunch last year! Please, please please, keep coming in and volunteering to supervise. 

We are offering work spaces for those who want to come during our passing time. This allows our parents to supervise halls during transition time but then hop back into an office to work. We're happy to accommodate!

Working with middle school requires the right temperament. We mostly just need you to be smiley, and cheerful. We avoid practices that involve screaming or yelling. We prefer softer approaches that are kind but firm. Individuals volunteering are able to suspend bias and judgment and can offer support for all students. If you think this is you? Please help us in adding a greater eco-system like approach to how we guide and shepherd our young Hornets.

Parking for Parent Visitors

Parents and caregivers, if you are visiting Valley View please check in at the front desk and a clipboard will be provided for you to enter your vehicle information. This will prevent any boots or ticketing.

The VVMS PTO does not hold any other fundraisers throughout the year, this is your chance to support our school!

PTO Family Contributions are $75 per family and they grant you access to the school directory and help provide much needed funding to support programs, teachers, and staff at our school.

What are Family Contributions used for?

  • They support student programs
  • They help us show appreciation to our teachers and staff
  • They are the only source of funding for the PTO (that’s right, nothing to sell or additional fundraisings throughout the year!)

Join Cross Country!

7th and 8th grade boys and girls can join the EHS cross country teams. Practices are after school starting at 4:30 at ECC. An activity bus is available for Valley View students. Edina Robotics FTC Season is Back!

2025-26 FTC Season information is now available with Sign Up.

Information Meeting Tuesday, Aug 19th 7:00-8:00PM Edina High School Cafeteria (Enter Door 5). This is optional for veterans and the slide show is available on ftcroboticsedina.com. Tell your friends! Last Day to signup is 8/28.

  3. Pay FTC Dues

Complete EPS Activities Registration with $105, no physical needed (opens 7/15/2025)

Immunization Clinic

Edina Public Schools and Bloomington Public Health are partnering to offer all mandatory school vaccines for all EPS students on Thursday, August 21, from 12-4 p.m. at Edina High School.

Pre-registration is strongly recommended by calling (952) 563-8900 and make sure to mention the August 21 Edina HS Clinic. Limited walk-ins may be available.
